Recap

The Destroyers nearly got another scare this evening as the Puck'n A jumped out to a 2 goal lead with less then four minutes to go in the first. Strong offense and tight zone defense quickly got the Destroyers back into the game and into a commanding lead.

Juan Castillo was credited with his first point tonight by making a lead pass to Bob Cushman who jammed in this 6th goal of the season. Later in the game Bob notched his team leading 7th goal and added an assist giving him his second consecutive 3 point night.

The other Bob (Bob Hunter #18) also put up 3 points with a goal and a pair of assists. This gives Bob 4 points on the season in only 3 games played.

Despite an injured thumb, Mitch Wright managed to net a goal and get credited with an assist in the losing effort. Caveman stopped 29 of 37 shots, many of which were excellent scoring chances. The Puck'n A scored their 5 tallies on only 20 shots.
