The Puck'n A got the opening score 3:50 minutes into the first period by Bob Cushman's first goal of the season and took the early 1-0 lead. This would be the last time the Puck'n A would lead as the Enforcers battled back by scoring 3 goals in the first. One at even strength, one short handed, and the last while on the power play.
In the second period, Andrew Cushman notched his 3rd goal of the season to narrow the lead to 4-2. The Enforcers then took a high sticking call, but managed to net a second short handed goal with 15 seconds remaining in the period increasing their lead to 3 goals.
Midway through the third, the Enforcers powerplay was back on the court and nailed it's second of the night creating a 4 goal gap. As seen in other games this season, the Puck'n A refused to roll over and die. Goals less than two minutes apart by Bob Hunter and Scott Gehring narrowd the score to 6-4. The race against time was on. The Enforcers goalie was forced to make save after brilliant save. With about a minute to play, Caveman was pulled for the extra attacker. Unfortunately, the Enforcers defence jumped on a loose puck and sealed the game by scoring an empty net goal with 30 seconds remaining.
