The fall 1996 season was the last season for the DIHA Voodoo. The team had played the last three seasons at Dry Ice Hockey Arena and most if not all of the remaining players that came up from Gremic decided to move on. Some went on to play at Rolling Ice in San Jose to avoid the lengthy commute on game nights. Others have just not had the time anymore.
A quarter of the people on the roster did not play the previous season,
just as many players would not carry over to the new team. In fact
Jeff Robison played the regular season, but due to his relocation to
Arizona missed the playoffs. On the other side, John Lindner, an original
Voodoo, only played a handful of games because of personal and professional
commitments.
