Blew By U scored early despite losing the opening face off by snagging a loose puck of the near boards and putting a steep angled shot top shelf past Ron "Caveman" Steele. That didn't last long, however, as Mitch Wright managed to get a good shot off just a minute later and Mark Vis picked up the rebound and put it in for the score. Blew by U scored two more in the period before Scott Gehring scored his 6th of the season with less than a minute remaining in the first to narrow the score.
The second period was scoreless for the first 14 minutes before Chris McGrew tied the game at three goals a piece by knocking in a loose puck. It looked as if the Puck'n A were going to come back and take the game, but instead it was Blew By U that scored at 1:13 and again one minute later to close out the period with a 5-3 lead.
The third period was again tightly played, but the Puck'n A couldn't seem to get another puck past Blew By U netminder Marty Seguin who stopped 27 of 30 shots on the night. Blew By U caught the Puck'n A pinching in hard when #2 took a loose puck one-on-one with Ron Steele and sealed the game with the score (6-3).
The Puck'n A managed to take the first game between the two teams, but couldn't pull out the victory this time. Next week they play Team Acme whom then played in week two of the season. It will pretty much be a game for pride and perhaps a slightly better seeding in the season's playoffs.
