Blue by Blew by U

Oakland, CA -- It has been a while since the Puck'n A suffered a first round playoff loss, but Blew By U accomplished that task handily Thursday night. A four goal rampage in merely four minutes in the middle of the first spelled doom for the Puck'n A.

The teams were more evenly matched that the score indicates, but netminder Ron "Caveman" Steele simply got off to a rough start. To boot, the offense could hardly get going as Blew By U goaltender Marty Seguin stopped nearly every shot. Mitch Wright did manage to pick up a rebound from a Scott Gehring shot and put it in to break up Marty's shutout bid.

The Puck'n A will move to the consolation bracket for next weeks game. The time and opponent have not yet been disclosed.
