Recap

Unlucky #7

Oakland, CA -- A burst of five first period goals propelled Armageddon to a 7-5 victory and dropping the Puck'n A back to the .500 mark. The seven goals were the most allowed by the team in a regular season since August 14th.

Armageddon opened the period with two quick goals before Jeff Robison added to his team leading goal total. Troy Gehring fired in another one to tie the game at two at the 6-minute mark. Robison scored his second of the game and period, but not before Armageddone added three more holding their lead as 5-3 after one period.

To start the second, Armageddon increaded their lead to 6-3. The Puck'n A closed the gap to 6-5 before the period ended with goals by Mitch Wright who got the tally by deflecting a Scott Gehring shot, and Jeff Robison added the other score on the power play.

The third period was rather quiet. Armageddon was the only team to score and took the game 7-5. Both teams had 26 shots on goal and are jockeying for a playoff position.
